Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you so much for your past support, interest, and generosity in the ongoing battle against the proposed 166-home Tierra Robles subdivision in rural Palo Cedro.

On February 2, 2021, the public and PATROL’s attorney, Remy Moose Manley submitted written comments to the Shasta County Planning Department in response to a Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report (RDEIR). These comments highlight the many deficiencies, insufficient evidence and erroneous data that still plague the proposed project and the RDEIR.

Read the Remy Moose Manley 34-page letter to learn more about 3.5-hour wildfire evacuation times that could lead to lethally unacceptable delays, an unlikely source of supplemental water to the Bella Vista Water District, an unreliable HOA/Community Services District and other concerns:

PLEASE EMPOWER THE LEGAL WORK OF REMY MOOSE MANLEY BY DIGGING DEEP TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR LEGAL OFFENSE FUND. EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT WILL GO A LONG WAY TO PUSHING BACK ON THIS ILL-ADVISED PROJECT. PLEASE DONATE ON THIS SECURE WEBSITE OR MAIL A CHECK TO PATROL, P.O. BOX 682, PALO CEDRO, CA 96073

The County must respond to all comments, make necessary revisions, and produce a new Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) that will go to the Planning Commission for another Public Hearing in the future.  At that hearing, the public will be able to voice their concerns regarding the FEIR and the entire project, like the hearing on July 23, 2019.

MANY THANKS FOR CONSIDERING OUR REQUEST – THE PATROL STEERING COMMITTEE
